Gail’s studio features vibrant, colourful, unique, hand painted functional stoneware and glassware for the home or a special gift. 

Gail has an attention to detail, developing designs inspired by her life and the places she’s lived. She was born in South Africa and emigrated to Canada many years ago.  She applies a consistently high standard to each and every piece.

Gail’s passion for painting glassware and stoneware was instilled in her at an early age. She has always had a love for bright, vibrant colour, something that is evident the minute you step into her bright colour saturated studio in Deep Cove, North Vancouver.  She has taken part in numerous craft fairs in the Vancouver area and on Vancouver Island, was a regular at the Saltspring Island Market as well as having participated in the Saltspring Island Studio Tour for many years. 

Her clients are from all over the world, many of whom collect her bowls, referring to them as their “Happy bowls”
